The events began as TJ questioned Thomas about why he “doesn’t want to pash any of the girls in the house” - with Thomas’s explanation about it being a show of respect to his ex-lovers interrupted by TJ’s accusations of Thomas putting on an act and being too afraid of the cameras, which attracted other housemates to the scene.
Hayley and Rebecca continued the questioning, with both agreeing his former partners probably wouldn’t care and would have moved on - before TJ interrupted with her wild antics:
• Yelling at the top of her lungs, criticising Thomas for flirting with her when he isn’t planning to take it anywhere- reminiscent of her much milder blow-up in the chill out room earlier this week, where TJ proclaimed Thomas to be “as good as dead”, before provocatively jumping on him after saying that she was just joking.
• Jumping up and doing about five dances throughout the course of the conversation. In one case, standing on the table singing “snap..boyaah…ahh ahhh ahh…you a boy not a man” while frenetically dancing.
• Saying how stupid Thomas is and how he is not good enough for her, before stating that Thomas was wrong to grab her breasts (something he never did).
• Thomas tried to apologise to her for flirting with her and gently touched her leg. TJ screamed and threatened him if he ever touched her again. She then explained to Aleisha how this is all a big joke and she will let him “stew over it for a day”
• TJ then started to follow Andrew around the house, asking if there was any chance for them to “get closer”. When he said that he was not interested in any woman inside the house, she snapped at him for not wanting to see her naked.
• Whilst TJ and Thomas got into bed, the onslaught of words continued, and ended with TJ staring at Thomas while he slept.
The situation continued for approximately three hours, with TJ switching from harassing the boys one minute to throwing herself at them the next. The events have raised questions amongst some of those who witnessed them about TJ’s mental health, and also about how Big Brother might have intervened differently if it had been a male housemate acting in a similar way towards two women. |
