some of them just aren't as fastidious as others. One of ours goes crazy with it--if you even touch him, the second you're sufficiently out of reach, he'll start cleaning you off. The other one is lazy, though. He's not bad, but part of that's 'cuz the first one goes after him from time to time. Not so much anymore, but when he was a kitten, our older one would go crazy over the smell.
