If you have quality glass grade meth like you had its almost impossible not to have fun on it. A 13 hour quality coke high is a good way to describe it. It can be used responsibly recreationally, shit I did it for months. However you have to have a lot of will power because once you start doing it and you have been up for 24 hours and still feel great its real easy to convince yourself to just keep redosing. The key to it is to not use it to stay up more than 48 hours and make sure you take a break of several days in between use. And if you have an addictive type personality I would suggest you do yourself a favor and just not do it at all.

I haven't had any in years, I'd probably use it again on a very limited basis because it is fun, but its also a drug thats pretty hard on your brain as far as neruotoxicity goes.

Just a note:

The "addictive power" of opiates is much smaller than is often popularly supposed, and the "withdrawal symptoms" depend heavily on both the addict's beliefs about the withdrawal process and his belief about whether histrionics will cause a doctor to prescribe him some other opiate like methadone. Unlike withdrawal from alcohol or benzodiazepines, opiate withdrawal very rarely has any serious medical complications (though of course opiate use, especially by injection, can have very serious ones).

I wish that policy-makers would learn that scare campaigns won't keep any significant number of people from doing drugs (and in fact may create a "dangerous and forbidden" mystique around them that can make them even more attractive to certain kinds of people).

A futile wish, I know.

This is true, nothing is going to completely have you addicted the first you do it and every drug can potentially be used responsibly. On the other hand those who actually use drugs responsibly are few and far between. Many may begin to use the drug responsibly only to lose control. The more addictive the drug is, the more likely this is to happen. Therefore with something like meth, very few people are able to use it more than a couple of times and continue to be responsible about it. Because of the power of the drug, there is no doubt in my mind that people should continue to be discouraged to try it.

The only meth i ever had was mixed in the pills i ate. Awesome pills too.
