I don't like Dusbtep, Jungle, Breaks, D & B, the train-like a-la Adam Beyer techno, Hard House (which gets the award of worst sound ever from me), Emo, everything pop, Grunge, Nu-metal, Hardcore and everything that ends in core, and the nu-wave electroy, minimaly, glitchy, clicky, micro-house-techno trash. I also find the most of Prog-Psy to be very boring and uninspired, being nothing else then a recycle of old ideas, but i selectively like some stuff like the new album by Vibrasphere and some albums by Human Blue. I also can't stand Psy-Trance anymore. After two minutes i feel extremeley dizzy. And it is quite samey-same all these years. If epic trance remained tha same, the same goes for Psy as well. Just because there is better production doesn't save the situation. It was ok when i was 17 though. It was great fun back then! Quite raw and dynamic, fast psychedelic teenage music.

Drum & Bass/Jungle/Whatever the fuck people want to tell themselves they're listening to is probably the single worst genre of music I have ever heard, and honestly, I'm suprised anyone who isn't 4 days deep into a meth binge digs it. Utter nonsense.

Beyond that, I really haven't been able to enjoy any Dubstep or Grime, I can't stand hard______, and in general, I don't like much "euro."

And though it isn't EDM, a huge +1 to whoever said Emo Rock. Fuck those whiney pussies right in their ear canal.

Edit: And lol @ Zo...

Fucks sake dude - I don't care how good some of the music you make is, some of the shit you say on here is downright hilarious...

No need for insulting.

Cajke/turbofolk is the only "music" (and it's arguable whether it's actually music) worth insulting.

Example:

EDM: I don't really listen to much break beats or minimal

Non-EDM: Country and rap. I used to be a fan of some rap, but there are only so many times that I can hear the same boasting and posturing by ignorant criminals. Some of them might have talent, but most don't. Country just sucks hardcore.

Ok so other people's oppinions are funny to you, good for you. I also find it funny that you think DnB is crap since you just said you think some of my music is good, and my music is HEAVILY influenced by DnB.

Also im guessing that when you say Emo, you dont actually mean Emo (the genre that came out of Washington DC punk bands in the early 90s such as the rites of spring). I think you should rephrase it as Pop Punk with pussy lyrics. Emo died almost as soon as it started in the 90s.

To prove that not all DnB is crap, i'll post some clips that I think even the most close minded tranceaddict can enjoy.

I definitely cannot stand listening to any mixes of it or anything of the sort, but some of the stuff out there (granted, it's about .01% of the dnb out there) is exceptionally good, and is pretty easy to, if nothing else, appreciate for the sheer production value.

These samples are actually good. Reminded me a bit of the old good "artcore", jazzy sound of LTJ Bukem. Anyones remembers that? That was good D' n' B actually! Also Photek, Omni Trio, Goldie, Peshay etc. i liked them all. I didn't know that they still make such melodic drum n bass nowadays. What i really can't stand is that full-on D'n'B with the fart-like basslines and stuff lol. Stuff like Tech-step etc. But anyway its up to everyone's taste i guess. And yes full-on Psy is equally-if-not more- disturbing sound IMO.

that's the kind of stuff I don't like. If it's just an amen break with random synths on top for the entire track, no, thank you. I guess the stuff I'm referring to isn't exactly traditional or pure dnb.

Ah my first convert

Again you can say that about all genres of EDM. Full on EDM with fart sounds is never good.

One more good d&b sample (also from Hospital):

http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF252155-01-01-01.mp3

Probably my favourite track atm.
And RJT: I can understand not liking (or not understanding) the genre, but why all the bashing?
