Wow, definately an interesting night for me - although not one of the best.
Michelle, it was great to finally meet you!!  Hopefully you still remember me. I was there w/ my buddy Brandon and his drunk friend Nicky who had her boobs popping out of her shirt half the time. Oh man, that's the last time i bring her in my car. I still need to clean off my back seat from the drink she spilled.
Sarah, (gypsygirl) it was great to meet you too! Thanks again for taking those pics of Piet for me on the stage. They came out great!
We got there about 10:45 while Blake Jarrell was spinning. Grabbed a drink and headed to the front to check him out. He was playing some great tracks, but I was just getting antsy for Rank 1 to come on.
Then Piet comes on and he tore it up.. He played hit after hit, and hearing it on Vanguard's insane sound system made it even better. I'm hoping someone posts a tracklist of his set on here because he played a few tracks I want, but dont know the names.
Unfortunately, that's where my fun ended. Midway through Piet's set, we go to the bar to get drinks for me and my buddy and a water for his drunk friend. Well anyways, we're at the bar and she puts her head down on the counter. Everybody knows that's a big no-no to do and we quickly get her back up but the bartender already saw her. Bartender flags down security and the girl gets thrown out. So then my buddy went after her to try to get her back in, so I'm in the club by myself now - with a drink in hand. I told em to sort it out while i go back up front to check out Piet. Well about 1:15 rolls around and my buddy texts me saying security wont let them in and are making them leave the area. So i told em to go wait by my car and I'l come out after CL comes on.
Christopher Lawrence comes on and played a few hard tracks I've never heard of, but unfortunately I didnt wanna leave my buddies stranded outside so I left 20 mins into his set. That was a huge buzkill. I was looking forward to seeing him all last week and I only got to see 20 mins worth because of her. Well, hopefully this doesnt happen to us at Armin in a few weeks.
