I had the same feelings until I read the report from the Sheriff on wwe.com. No way that is made up. Yes it's not all confirmed yet but it seems like the case.

Im speachless... I have watched him wrestle since 1998 and was one of my favorites. Sadest news i have seen since eddie died. R.I.P. Chris Benoit, one of the best wrestlers ever.
And yes this is real, and god i hope they will end that mcmahon storyline now, they just have too. Tune in tonight, i hope it will be 3 hours dedicated to Chris Benoit.

if you mean raw, we had it live last night Smackdown & ECW are taped tonight and I'm guessing they'll go like the eddie tributes, in that it'll be inter-brand matches between friends of chris, so allsorts of people. I'd also love to see it be the return of chris jericho but I really don't think it will, I forsee him returning this winter.

it makes you realise these guys are human though, even tna, the 'enemy' of wwe has it up on their site, as many of their wrestlers like kurt angle, christian, rhino, scott steiner, raven, kevin nash, jeff jarret, the New age outlaws (in their new name) the dudleys etc all were close to him. As sad as it is for them all, it somehow brings life back down for them, as their road schedules are so busy and hellish that it puts so much stress on them.

one difference being many of them were those who were juiced up on 'roids. Benoit was never so, and just got where he was through pure dedication. He had a stupidly small amount of actual body fat & was so much pure muscle from working out so hard, but had the abilities to go flying, mat wrestle & basically do it all. The fact that the fans took to him using the sharpshooter; bret "the hitman" hart's move so much was testament to the respect they had unlike if some muscle head who was just steroided up would've

Here are some info from wrestlingobserver:

Sources in the Fayette County Police Department are now working under the theory that Chris Benoit killed Nancy on Saturday, son Daniel on Sunday, and then killed himself earlier today.

Benoit was found dead in his weight room. Nancy was found dead in the lving room. Daniel was found dead in his bedroom, accordig t an unnamed source in the department.

Lt. Tommy Pope told ABC News "the instruments of death were located on the scene," but didn't specify what those were or where they were found. Pope said the department was not actively searching for any suspects outside the house.

Just totally unreal

you can just put it down to stress I guess. So many wrestlers fail with 'normal' lives (look at the ultimate warrior) due to the schedule & the pains it puts on them, physically & mentally. Seeing his best friend of 15 years die too can't have helped his mental state. I'm gonna make no excuses for it if it's proven he did it, but i'll still respect him to hell for what he did in the ring, and with many people outside it.

Yeah true, they perform like 4 times a week, every week of the year. I think its just to much, Vince already is a billionare so whats the point? No wonder that wrestlers are getting injured often. But yeah Benoit was wrestling and was a big name on ecw/wcw, the magical days when wrestling was more then just "wrestling". Respect!

check Ring of Honor (ROH) which has had talent such as CM Punk, samoa joe, aj styles, paul london, brian kendrick & has the most 'pure' talent in the world today, less stupid storylines, more actual wrestling, technically superb. Even James gibson (Jamie noble in wwe) was world champion, and was really good.

2nd one is samoa joe. he's a big guy (270lbs) but he can fucking move like a guy half his weight.
