So what have some of you done in the name of music?

Just because it's Kanye and not some 'undiscovered' Scandenavian dj from a mountain village of 200, and who produces ultra-rare *insert subsubsubsub-genre here*, you shit on him.

Give yourselves a big round of applause for your internet bravado!

the original and remix of this song is mediocre. nobody will be listening to it 10 years from now.

but watching the video, it is clear that Kanye West is a fan of japanimation as this whole video is a homage to the anime classic Akira.

- fading motorcycle tail lights as they zoom through
- kanye in bandages ala Tetsuo being hospitalized
- apocalyptic nuclear bomb 'mushroom'

LOL @ waynoinsano. Get a fucking clue.

This is TranceAddict, not UrbanAddict. So it's quite natural that this track will get some heat for misusing a great EDM song for a backbeat.

Don't take it too seriously.

Fuck, I don't see why people who like electronic music would look at this as a bad thing. If hip-hop (in it's current state) pisses you off, wouldn't you be glad to hear more of an EDM influence within the genre?

Sure the beat is pretty much a total rip-off, but it works as a hip-hop beat - and this would work in the clubs for sure (and I personally don't mind the song either).

People constantly bitch on this site about the negativity towards electronic music, only to turn around and do the same to hip-hop. Different strokes for different folks people - listen to what moves you, and if it doesn't, well it ain't for you.

It's not about one vs. the other. I've been in these arguments before on here.

It's about how you guys dis anything that isn't "underground" or EDM (especially hip hop), with the implication that you're superior for listening to only one type of music.

It's ridiculous that any of you in this thread who've been quick to jump on the hip hop hate bandwagon could call yourselves MUSIC lovers, because you clearly have a long way to go in understanding and appreciating it.

And if you don't want to take the time to educate yourself about it, then shut the fuck up, lol.

Get over yourselves.

When I first heard about it I didn't think it would be that good, but after giving it a listen I kinda liked it.
