But the idea that quality music doesn't become mainstream is preposterous. With rock you have acts like the Beatles, the Stones, Springsteen, Dylan, Pink Floyd...I can go on and on. And in terms of electronic music you have Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim among others. |
Most of those are pretty old though. Back then the industry was different. Would quality music still break through in today's market?
