agree with a lot of stuff being said here!
i think with the closing of sonic the scene lost a certain underground feeling to it, for me anyways
and as much as we did have it pretty good, i think the fall will bring many new and exiting things....

Agreed.
However, if you don't go to guvernment or TIL, that knocks back the options quite a bit.
Diginut, Kerri Chandler is playing Sept 1 at mod, you know that right?
Diginut knows all.

From my perspective living from the k-w area, I feel lucky to be able to drive an hour down the road and see world class dj's among some incredibly talented locals.

I used to goto toronto alot, now I bearly leave hamilton...things have been getting better here too. and will continue to get better for the next while.
this year alone we've had donald glaude, dj dan, bad boy bill, coming up there's chris lake (not even playing in toronto ), starkillers..I'm sure there's gonna be a few more acts coming around before 2008.
we are now getting all of the most poplar djs come to hamilton from toronto on a weekly basis...that might not sound like much, but compared to 2 years ago...even last year...tehre's wwaaaayyy more going on now.
you gys have like 2 boat cruises every fucking sunday. there's not even one in hamilton all summer
edit: and kenneth thomas too
