No reviews yet eh?
Well what can I say? From the time that I actually got to see Carl Cox spinning, it was pretty sick! The bad part is we only got there round 4:30, so by then had already missed most of his set. He spun till 6:30 and the last hour was extremely intense, pounding beats.
Was pretty pissed that his set time was reversed with Joachim. Joachim had said himself on Thursday on his site that he was spinning from 2-5, and Cox from 5-8. Guess something changed. I wish promoters on this board could have warned us at least, even with multiple people asking over the course of the week what the set times were. It's too bad.
Garraud came on, and I was just not feeling it. I really gave him a chance, but even a couple Daft Punk tunes didn't help. Was it me or did he decide to MAX the volume? It was pretty unbearable. Left at 7:30 for breakfast and some well-deserved rest.
Overall pretty disappointed. Thanks to Swamper for the free tickets, that really offset missing most of Cox. sup sup to Vermz and Louis, didn't see too many of you there in the end.
