Yes Armin must be in a ‘state of shock' after the announcement at last nights Top 100 DJ awards in London. So well done to you Armin and the rest of the Top 100 DJ's!

345,000 votes (60% increase since last year) from 220 countries came to a concluding 89,393 nominated DJ's
Spelling was a big issue yet again as 637 different versions of Armin van Buuren were nominated.

This year has 15 new entries, 12 re-entries, 4 non-movers and 45 DJ's moving up
The fight between Armin and Tiësto was long undecided but in the end Armin succeeded and took the first spot.
Techno is back.. Richie Hawtin is up 14 places, Sven Väth 17, Umek 53, Picotto 37, Anderson Noise 25, Kanzyani, Luciano and Booka Shade are new entries while Villalobos, Bailey, Mills, Magda, Beyer and Laurent Garnier are re-entering the top 100
