Thanks so much for all of the comments regarding my set guys!
My set was short, only played until midnight. And it was impossible for me to see the crowd due to it being so dark at that time (which was really cool actually). I was the first one there and the last person to leave (literally) I had an amazing time.
PVD was great, especially the way he opened his set and the last 2 hours of his set. That was actually my first time hearing him since Twilo.
There were 2 things that I was extremely impressed with during his set. One thing that really stood out for me was the way he incorporated a lot of different styles, especially in the last couple hours where he was throwing in a lot of classics as well as techno into the mix. Another thing that stood out for me was his true artistic talent. He had a couple keyboards where he would create and play melodies on the fly that he would layer on top of the tracks he was playing. Really cool thing to see up close.
I wish Stellar Designs could be at every event. That laser show was just unreal.
And the sound from Integral was spot on... loud, bass heavy, clear, but in no way overwhelming. It's not easy to make a room that large with such high ceilings sound as good as it did.
Another great part of the night for me was at the end hanging with all of you in the left hand corner of the room. Everyone was in that corner. lol The costumes were awesome as well.
Anyway, I'm off to the airport in a few hours to play the Carl Cox afterparty in Atlanta.
It was great seeing all of you and hope to see you Friday at Pacha!

I wasn't able to do my normal magic with the photography. They didn't didn't have bright enough strobes. I got some cool laser shots, but that's about it. |
