I don't know how Eric is myself and will not judge him personally (cause some people who aren't liked in general are just missed undersood or have people take what they say the wrong way), but he is straight up stereotyped as ...well, I don't want to sound harsh but he rubs off on people the wrong way it seems. Can even be more descriptive/specific to a couple things about him but then it would kinda be accusations that I have no clue are true and it would be completely irresponsible of me.

And yeah, Eric has ZERO stage presence. When he's having an off-night with his set and it's in a club where the crowd isn't very DJ-centric, the crowd will scurry out of the room quicker than you'd see with a DJ with personality behind the decks. At least Digger does his little clap as he is first coming on...at least, I see him do that every time I see him. After that, it's all about the knobs and picking the next track lol. Diggers doesn't like to be bothered (When he plays here for the promoter I work with, Spundae, I usually get the fancy job of keeping people from bothering him. I just stand there and dance right behind him all night. No complaints!), but if you do something to get his attention he at least smiles!!

And no excuses about if a DJ has an off night. I can think of numerous DJs where people would faint if they didn't seem the smile or be active. In the end if you are a DJ and being paid good money to be booked in some part of the world, at least put on a fake smile.

Why I think all promoters and clubs should boycott Andy Moor and not book him to DJ, lol. Dude always seems to go around complaining how people go see him because he's simply Andy Moor, the producer, and not for his DJing. Talk about a DJ who gives EVERYONE (100% of the people I know who have encountered him) a bad rubbin...have heard some awesome stories.

believe it or not, Prydz may a phobia of being 'spotlighted', stage freight, so to speak. We all know he's got a fear of flying, so who knows what else?

Or because he's first and foremost a producer, he may not be as confident djing, who knows? When I saw him, he made some technical errors so djing may not come to him so easily that he can be so carefree behind the decks like others.. yet.

Towards the end of the set, and the end of a long, fairly rough weekend, my mate gave one more attempt at getting the tune he wanted to hear all weekend played...he took the t-shirt off and throw it up behind Prydz. Prydz looked around at it and just continued on. Needless to say, his attitude didnt go down too well. The tent rapidly emptied as people got fed up at watching someone who had absolutely no desire to be there. We stayed to the end anyway cos the music was decent, but I really was shocked by the way he went on. I just felt like saying to him 'Eric smile, it wont hurt, I promise' Purely from this experience and from all of the interviews/articles etc that I have read on him, he does come across as a being fairly up his own arse but I dont know him personally, so I cant really back that up. I love his productions, I think he has been rattling the tracks out with a consistancy that very few can rival however the thing that does annoy me though is when artists/djs like this think that they are bigger than the music. Dance music was created for people to have a good time, sometimes I think Prydz takes himself far too seriously. By the way, fair play for getting the interview.
