Children of Men was already included in last year's Oscars (along with Pan's Labryinth). It was nominated for Best Screenplay, Best Editing, and Best Cinematography (which it SHOULD'VE won)
But movies like Children Of Men(that don't win the awards & recognition they deserve) are that much more richer and deserving of praise. Plus, it makes you feel elite to watch something of such great magnitude.
