who in their right fucking mind would want to copy that dickheads style?

On topic: what a fucking hilarious myspace page, and -more important- track!

For all those ignorants: Sinterklaas is the Dutch Santa Claus (well in fact, Sinterklaas is Dutch, then Americans copied him, making a few adjustments, and then the Dutch copied the new Santa Claus so now we have both). That tune is just a remix of one of the best known Sinterklaas-tunes that we know. LOL I gotta copy this links to all Dutch music-oriented forums I know.

True, but Deadmau5's style is generally quite sparse as it is, so when people attempt to emulate it, it comes off as thoroughly transparent. At least people can better mask the Coldharbour sound by piling additional layers on top of that throbbing bassline, as well as perhaps make the overall track unfold in a variety of ways

Just listened to Members Of Mayday - Troopa Of Tomorrow (2003), and it sounds very much like mau5' productions..

You say that as if he created that sound in the first place - he just processed and packaged the old prog sound in packets easy enough for the lowest common denominator to have access to.

I've actually decided to try not to post that ever again - I figure plenty of others will, and in general it's probably getting to the point where it's just mean.

His posts are generally enough for a chuckle, I guess I've just decided to leave it at that.

I just think it's a much more convincing and concise retort to any of his posts.
