it doesn't work the same for entertainment. your manager works for you and gets you organized. you don't work for them. or at least that's what i thought. i guess if you join a DJ roster you are now owned by the company and are forced to do whatever they say. pretty lame, imo.
and yes, i do agree that a dj shouldn't get involved in petty promoter bullshit because it looks bad on them but not because a manager says but only because they should know that already.

Most Djs probably work for an agency and company I guess.
But I think Deadmau5 has his own agency and crew and stuff...So I dunno lol. ah well
