As much as I loved this movie, I still think the ending could have been done a little differently. The Dude should have at least gotten a new rug out of all that shit he had to deal with. Then he could spark a J and commend himself on a job well done.

you know I watched this movie about 10 - 15 times before I remembered how it ended. That's when I realized the story-line did not matter at all, its a character piece
I'll probably end up watching it in its entirety again quite soon.
