even if you didnt like the leafs, but just want to watch hockey (professional NHL hockey) live, its the easiest/closest/most convenient/obvious place to go.
(but yeah, this factor/demographic couldnt count for selling out each and every game, so obvi a great deal of those in the stands are die-hard leaf fans still going to see their team play specifically.) |
the majority of people at leaf games are people who are either part of a corporation or were given tickets by a corporation. True diehard leaf fans are at games in Buffalo, Ottawa and Montreal. The die hard fans are either at home or at a bar watching the game.
Fans who say you shouldn't support your team when they are loosing are the band wagoners....true fans support their team even more when they are loosing....players want to win the cup for two reasons...1 its the stanley cup and 2 money. Teams want to win because of 1. money 2 its the stanley cup.
IF your favourite DJ put out a bad album you wouldn't stop seeing them perform until they put out a good album.
