Wow, christ. I'm so happy I live in the city. I don't plan to get a car for a looooong time. A scooter after I graduate is quite likely though.

Good analysis, but not sure if you included financing here...in that case it will be more than the lease.

yup very good point there

my roomie and I sometimes rent a car for the weekend (Discount rental car), it's like $50 for 2 days, $25 each if I need to go anywhere
