some of u people treat this like your home and think they have more right to post here than other people. probably spent thousands on equipment and have fuck all to show for it.

you'd be surprised how many big producers came from this forum. ive spent roughly £1,000 on production stuff. money well spent in my eyes.

and to discredit peoples tips on this site you would have to be a fool. when i joined this site i knew fuck all about production. people helped me out loads although funnily enough all those people from 3 years ago have practically disappeared due to idiots crawling the site.

i never discredited any tips given to me, did i? thats the reason i come on here (not to hang out like some people!)

i said some people think they are it handing out tips, and see this forum as their own. which it aint.

if i spent £1000 on producing equpment, unless i had a record out or was close to, id say thats a waste.

its a bit ignorant right to say the people who gave u great tips when u were first starting out now have fucked off due to "crawlers".. if they were already good producers at the time u were starting, now your good at producing.. they are obviously now at a proffesional level, why would they hang around a forum if they were busy getting gigs and releasing records?!

ive had some good tips on here that have helped me way beyond the basics, and have always shown appriecation when i have done, but it hasnt been from any of the "regular" stuck up, know-it-all dickheads. it has in fact been people who i dont recoginze.. crawlers i think.

I think you have no idea who Sean Tyas is?

This guy is a really nice person. He spent 2 days.. 2 DAYS of his time teaching me how to use Logic through msn. He wanted a collab with me

In the end i decided to stay with my platform and he never got upset or anything.

This was all done back when he was working for studios and trying to work on his music and breakthrough

I know for a fact that he spent allot of time and effort to get where he is. Maybe his music is not liked by you and i will admit that i might not like the music as well because i differ from style.

But one thing i do know is that he does care about the quality of music. he said that many times to me. But as a producer you can't always make what you expect to hear. This is something important to remember. But should this automatically force you to stop making music? No!

But lets face the facts? Many people like his music and really i am glad for him.

There is a difference between an opnion and bashing. Let me put this in other words.

If some person has an opnion about me in real life, it's fine. I can agree or disagree. If someone tries to bash me in real life or hurt my feeling, i'll make sure that person ends up in a hospital.

There is no big deal in disliking someone's music. But why not provide constructive opnion?

Seriously stop acting childish, who cares if it's a hobby or income, that doesn't tell you anything about the qualities of a person nor his knowledge. You're just still replying here to feel like you have won the argument. byebye

well some producers like me are not in it for the money but for the sheer enjoyment of making music and watching people go crazy to your tracks. that is something money cant buy.

many people dislike him for his generic overproduced sound too. totally soulless - u can just tell it was made on a computer. its nice to have an organic feel to tracks. something he definately doesnt.

almost all new trance tracks now have to match this "quality" and its making everything stale.

look at nalin + kane - open your eyes. a great sounding track, immensly worthy of its place on the best-of-the-series in search of sunrise 3. put his remix on there instead and the full thing would be spoiled!

and that's exactly why you get more flack then help .
You've made your point... You present your opinion as facts and it annoys people. You annoy people.

Please stop posting the same over and over. We know how you feel, and 99% on disagrees. I don't like Tyas' music either, just like you, but it sure is well-produced and carefully through.

Now put on some Nalin and Kane (which I think is good music too), calm down, and don't worry about Tyas. He'll be ok. It's not worth the fuss.

rebez what is going on in your life that is making you act like such a wanker on here? seriously! You point fingers that some members here are taking this forum too seriously yet you defend your opinions to the death as if it mattered at all. Here is an idea.. go tell your mom your opinions mate, shes more likely to give a shit if shes indeed not already quite bored of your abrasive nature.

You made it clear somewhere that you avoid posts that do not interest you.. and Sean Tyas obviously doesnt interest you other then to bring him down.. so if that was not your only intent here this thread would have never been composed of 6 pages of bullshit.
