And I'm not saying I would behave the same way in the given circumstance... I just think it's a weird situation where both guy and girl are at fault making a ghey situation that doesn't really benefit either of them.
Furthermore, if the genders in this scenario were reversed, I highly doubt that all the guys would be saying "oh wow, that guy is such a jerk for leading that girl on"
I think the majority would be calling the girl a dumb idiot who can't take a hint, followed by a bunch of digusting sexist commentary.

a girl i was seeing wouldnt take a hint and i had to just slowly cut her off and she got pissed at me... i suppose i did put out a bunch of mixed messages, but really she just didn't get it- and she was crap in the sack-
my roomate (a woman) called me a jerk-
then i saw her a couple days later and ended it officially-
she sent me a text one night after a gig where i kind of ignored her/was too drunk and running around to spend time with her saying if i didnt call and explain myself she didnt want to see my anymore... i did nothing, then saw her the next day, she came to the club i worked at and i ended it while she was drunk and i was working... high fives all around.
