I've always found it funny that such an enormous amount of people can close off Market St. and converge at the Civic Center, yet there's almost no media coverage of it. Tons and tons of events happen in Civic Center plaza where things are closed off that you never hear on the news....it's just so common lol

Well then, I guess that's what I get for being a tourist.

Hotel booked here too, now trying to decide on a flight...

9:00p LAX 10:17p SFO Fri

8:00p SFO 9:30p LAX Sun

is $99 incl taxes (AA)

...but I could take a half day off work Friday and leave around 4p instead, then get to SFO by 6p for just $15 more...in theory, that is. Reality is usually spend 4 hours getting to the airport in LA traffic on Friday afternoon, then plane is delayed 4 hours and I would arrive in SFO at 10:17...lol

Oh yeah, I would leave Thurs, come back Mon, but Lovefest date is bad for me this year, right in the middle of the busiest time of month at work and I can only get the weekend off.

hmmm...need to sleep on this one...

ok, flight booked, went for the $99 one! Cheapest flight ever to SF, I think, even with all the news about highest oil prices ever!!

If anyone's looking for a hotel, I recommend the Chancellor Hotel on Powell Street at Union Square. I always also recommend calling or emailing the hotel and mentioning that you're coming for SF LoveFest to see if you can get a better than published price! Remember that there's a convention that weekend, so rooms are booking up quickly and may be more expensive than normal.

Can't wait for LoveFest SF 2008!!!

i dont know if anyone has pointed it out but this year it is seperate from noctournal, and above & beyond said on their website they will be (or try to?) at both events!
