seriously OP, what do you expect?
if you say something stupid, then you get called on it. if you say something worthwhile, you get respect.
obviously we can't all agree on music taste, but at the least, planting a seed of doubt in the mind of a new listener is also a seed of musical growth and self discovery.
one of two things can happen - someone starts to wonder what else is out there, and someone realizes they are happy with what they have. I tend to be for the first position, but as long as it's a conscious, informed decision on the part of the listener and not something false like peer pressure, laziness, or marketing, i think it's all good.
as system-j said, this forum is self-cleaning. i think you're going to get a lot more out of it the way it is (challenging) rather than to be a member of a forum where everyone always agrees and listens to the same tired tripe.
embrace diference! see my sig quote
"To achieve sustainable innovation, you need to seek persistent disequilibrium. To seek persistent disequilibrium means that one must chase after disruption without succumbing to it or retreating from it"
honestly, this forum is tame compared to the 'scene' of flesh and blood, and even other dance music forums I use
