eventually...but i dunno. I think she already knows she is in control, hehe. But its cool, we have to get up 630am to go to work in the mornings anyway. I guess it WOULD be good to get used to being 'morning' ppl. lol 10-12 hrs IS a long time to wait between bathroom visits.

lol My cat is 22 years old, and she goes on my parents work schedule. But the funny thing is, that she doesnt understand the concept of weekends.

She will automatically come in and wake my rents up at 5am on the weekdays (which my mom actually loves....she jumps in the bed and mew's in her face!!) lol.....but she has always carried out the trend thru the weekend, which is highly annoying. lol She continues to come in at 5am, and She wont stop meow'ing til someone wakes up....she thinks she is doing them a favor when in fact she drives them crazy!! "its saturday fool!!"

ehehe thx.

OMG it WAS sad. I had posted an ad on craigslist saying we would love to help anyone out that needed to rehome their dog. Then Foxy's owner responded. She and her husband both work in property management in the Bronx, and a few months ago the Management company acquired more apt buildings so it added more hours to both their schedules. Eventually they could spend the time with Foxy as they used to, and Foxy appeared to get more distressed and was starting to show signs of it even physically. Ultimately she decided it would be much better off for Foxy to have owners who could give her more time and care. But i guess she was having a tough time finding the right ppl who Foxy would be secure with.

I did understand though...working at a management company IS very demanding, dealing with contracts, tenant requests and complaints...i remember temping as a receptionist for one many yrs ago, that phone was ringing OFF THE HOOK!

they also both have a 3 yr old daughter..and man that daughter started crying when we came to take Foxy last Friday. Man it almost made me start tearing too. The owner even told us that if Foxy didnt work out that she would glady take Foxy back temporarily..it is THAT important to HER that Foxy ends up with the right ppl. Sometimes certain situations just can't be helped

oh yeah, ive never owned a cat but my friends tell me similar stories all the time. lol. ok Foxy doesn't get THAT crazy. I think when she figures out that one of us is (just about) awake...and if she NEEDS to go, she will bark a little, even *whine* and start licking our hands/ankles. She rarely whines so we have to assume its for something urgent.

its okay tho we signed up for this...so we are going to follow through! Already walked her twice today...and are goign to the park at 3pm. Man she is getting SPOILED!!

The trick is to let her out right before you go to bed...then she's good to go when you get up!

well we do...around midnite or so. but we figure with our work schedules we will have to get up around 6-630am anyway, might as well make it a practice

We've both never owned a dog before, but its going just FINE what more could we ask for?

still tho i think there would be other 'certified' breeders who would charge less for a Rottweiler puppy tho, no?

G -- do you actually require a puppy puppy (2 months is normally the time where a puppy would be weaned from its mother), or would any puppy/dog under 1 year old be ok also? Expanding ur search options may also increase your chances of finding one.

i want a puppy puppy haha

Oh my! But if this isn't an example of destiny at its finest, I don't what is.

The owners were so lucky to find your ad and you are lucky they found you.

What a great story!
