The Essence of House is the Rhythm

Buddy of mine went to Jamaica for a week and lent me his copy for my PS3. Played it a couple hours last night!!!!

Sort of slow in the beginning but we'll see... I hear nothing but good thing about it!

I think they should beef up the servers... it hangs sometimes when loading a new online game & it really sucks to have to restart. Other then that it's great when you play with a couple of friends.

I played GTA4 at my buddies place a couple nights ago for about an hour and a half. Absolutely amazing. Like I said in my previous post I was never a big GTA fan but 4 is in a league of its own. I know an hour and a half is only scratching the surface but I could tell how much more engrossing the game is. They also did a much better job of making the game feel more "cinematic" thanks to well-directed cut-scenes and professional voice actors.

Can't wait for the PC version

it's definitely a great game worth almost all the hype... but i think in the end i had more fun with san andreas. there were funnier characters, better voice acting (they had samuel L jackson and james woods FFS).. and they took a lot out of gta4 that WERE in previous games. no hydraulics, souping up cars, turf warfare, planes, tanks, jetpacks, parachutes, bicycles, RC planes/cars, firefighting, pizza delivery, a lot less weapons... and money you earn is pretty much worthless.. i could go on. but i guess rockstar needs something to add to the next vice city or whatever the next spin-off is.. fgts

Well they said from the beginning that the scope of 4 won't be on the same scale as San Andreas or VC. Their goal was to tell a good, engrossing story. Not using Hollywood actors was tied to that, in the sense that they wanted more authentic sounding characters and not just famous people to sell the game.

Quality over quantity I guess.

ps. the voice acting in SA is pretty bad imo.

there is a part where some pedestrians swear in russian, i'm pretty sure they got authentic russians for the voices, i had the volume half way up and we had some family friends over and i was showing them the game and the characters started swearing hardcore in the game, fuck it was pretty embarassing..

does anyone know when u can fly planes i jus got the game today and wanted to know how long into the game i have to get
