Jokes aside, I think its clear that the setting, company, substances, place, mindset, et all have a lot to do with different peoples experiences with dance music, even when they more or less have similar music tastes.

I was sober as a daisy in Miami @ Pawnshop for Radio Slave and I danced nearly the whole time. And I rarely just dance!

Oh yeah, the good old "I was just kidding technique". Is that #3 in the guide ?

You fail

So you are saying RS rose to fame and beat his stuff to death in a year, just like deadmau5 ? please, get your act straight. he's been in the industry for way longer.

I think you would again in the right context.

Sometimes, just being off your tits by yourself in the middle of a dark dancefloor with a bunch of people and a good DJ is the best feeling in the world, imo.

Not always, but sometimes.

To put an end to this argument. It is not a question of taste.

Repetition, looping, teasing, endless intros, have been part of the electronic music world for a long, long time.

What deadmau5 does is not the same thing. It's a formula for a melody, and I posted an example couple of pages ago. Same freaking tune, same freaking arpeggios, same freaking 8th note.

RS uses a formula for a general mood and flow, for general rythm. Some tracks I hate, some tracks are classics to me.

But it is ridiculous to argue that it's only a question of subjectivity, especially when you first called for objective arguments.

And please, Rob, get your shit straight, and stop following stupid "I cant admit I was wrong" internet guides

You have got to be fucking kidding me.

You really thought I was seriously asking if people could provide an objective reason as to why Radio Slave is better than Deadmau5?

And the only reason you're saying anything about RS being in the industry for so long is because Clovis just posted the same thing - and his "rise to fame" was relatively quick, and rooted in a distinct style, so the comparison is as apt as I can imagine it can be.

Keep trying though, love the effort.

PS: As long as we're talking about internet argument techniques, I feel obligated to tell you that just using the words "you fail" doesn't actually mean the person you quoted failed. It means you don't have anything better to say.

I really don't like to do drugs anymore.

Sure, maybe in the right context I could have a good time - but more often than not I'd rather be at home in bed rather than watching the sunrise.

You can disregard my above post. You're a fucking idiot and I'm not even going to bother giving you the time of day anymore.

Take some of your own advice and fuck off.

I'm sure I'll grow out of the insane partying too, but I can appreciate both.

Which time at Pawn Shop are you talking about? You weren't sober either time

Anyway, just to clear some things up. Radio Slave hasn't always been just Matt Edwards, for a while it was him and Serge Santiago. Matt as a DJ has been around for ages, same with Serge, but as the production team he and Serge started the Radio Slave moniker maybe four years ago?

So to say something like he "sucked a lot of cock to get where is" just shows you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. And now that you've let that nice little piece of information about yourself slide, Steve, your opinion is completely null and void. Quite frankly, no one cares who the fuck you saw in Miami...did you happen to attend anything at Nikki Beach? My guess would be yes, enjoy the rest of your musical journey poppet.

As for the facts, I just posted them. He's been in it for years and is respected by his peers, and most folks in the industry, no dick sucking has gone down whatsoever. If anything he has folks trying to get on his jock all the time hoping for something in return. That is not my opinion, that is fact, I.E. what is actually going on IN THE WORLD, and not what is going on in the made up story of Radio Slave's success in your head.

"sucking cock" ranges from moving speakers around/hanging up plastic, to kissing ass and bribery. or did you actually think of the literal sense? your facts suck. you dont know what's really going on with these people, you dont know them personally, maybe you exchanged a few words but that is nothing to knowing a true story. i could care less about this dude! he's just like dubfire, they sound real similiar and both have music that is as uncreative as their names. i dont care about him so much, but you do!
