I've been going on strong with a Lebanese chic since New Years. There is nothing wrong with interracial dating, but my parents disapprove of it. Even though I moved out over 2 years my mother begged me not to get too serious (marriage?) with her. I kind of yelled at her on the phone, I love her and rarely have time to visit her in NY anymore but if it means going against her will I won't hesitate if it came down to it.

My father is Serbian and my mother is of Gypsi descent originally from a small country called Montenegro. They're very old fashioned and hard core religious nuts. I think they're afraid that I might taint my father's holy Serbian blood by mixing with an Arab.
