One of many calls, an old hag called in claiming that she left her slow cooker cooking for 8 hours and left for a doctors appt. When the customer came back home, half her kitchen was destroyed. They had recently moved so her husband stuffed ammunition inside the slow cooker, according to her the ammunition went off and she wanted the company to pay for the damages.

i love the problems i have to deal with at work being the only IT guy there..

me: "so uh, whats the problem here"
her: "i cant print, it doesn't print"
me: "k let me take a look"
i look and see that the default printer is changed from the printer to the MS Document thing.
me: "you didnt select the right printer in the list there...."
her: "oh thank you! your so smart!"

sigh.
