it's not terrible, it's just that the vocals reek of useless elitism when taken out of their original context (listen to "i get deep")

and then when someone like mark knight or d ramirez plays this the guido bottle service crowds who get grungy floral tattoos on their shoulders and back latch onto it like and make it their elite anthem.

so i just think it's funny then when someone like armin plays this track, because then it's taken out of context twice and it just has this completely different significance which is almost surreal...

its as if everyone who hears the lyrics pretends that the voice is on their side and everyone else not 'diggin it in da club' is just struttin' 'cuz they don't know what is what, what the fuck'

when i first heard this out i looked out over the crowd (because im 6'5"), and i saw a ton of people just bouncing around like they were the hottest shit in the city, singing along, accusing others of not knowing what is what, and just strutting, what the fuck.

i just think it's kind of a bullshit, ego-driving track which is brilliant if it's supposed to be ironic, but otherwise just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I hate this kind of meathead house which is just supposed to pump up guidos and and make people buy drinks and try to get laid.

with this said, maybe you can see why i think it's hilarious when the unicorn crew and the trance kids start to call it their own, just because almighty van buuren and saint paul van dyk played it

And again, I just really have no clue why people enjoy such mediocre shit music.

Of all the stuff coming out that is so much more interesting and lasting...

again, fatboy slim used roland clark's lyrics from 'i get deep'.

i guess there is a sort of art to recontexting the vocals so strongly like this

this one is a knock off of a knock off
