exactly, and for some reason when the person tattoo's their partners name on them it jinx's the relationship and it's over before you know it.

I disagree that it somehow jinx's the relationship, but the majority of people that get them are in unstable relationships to begin with, and therefore end up getting it just before they break up.

Getting your partner's name tattooed on you is no crazier than having a big ceremony to magically join yourselves together in the eyes of "God."

Both are tacky, and equally painful/expensive to remove.
