guys, i am the original poster from the ableton forums.

i wanted to update you that the situation has been resolved... i spoke with deadmau5's agent and there was some communication breakdown somewhere as he had no problem with another live set-up as long as it was built a good distance from deadmau5's rig.

deadmau5 has also sent me a PM on the abelton forums and was really sorry that i was told the wrong information. he seems a really nice guy and was more concerned with the way i was misinformed than the pelting he's received from some people who've blasted him on the thread

i'm really sorry i posted the thread in the first place and never imagined it would spiral or be spread like it has and negatively impact the artist/promoted. i was simply miffed at what i was told at the time re: equipment and bpm, and posted about it to see if anyone else had encountered this situation.

i meant no harm by it and i sincerely appologise to deadmau5 and his agent.

I agree... I don't think the kid has ever heard of "paying his dues"... My first gig ever I brought like 30 vinyls and was told I couldn't use them so I went to my friend's car and burned CDs... Also, my set time was cut more than half at least 50 times throughout the past years of playing out haha... Can't go on a message board and cry about it everytime that happens, every DJ worth his weight in Beatport dollars has had to pay his dues...

Next time another one of these BS threads pop up, people should just immediately link to this one to kill that noise immediately

Bwahahaha! For one, spell his name right.

Second, get of his nuts. Telling someone that they are on a bandwagon when you would clearly bear his children is just f'ing comical.

Now who's the douchebag? Hope you have a mirror handy when you ask the question.
