I've still yet to see Tiesto perform - and really, the guy is undoubtedly top 3 of who I want to see do a live set. After Oakie, Tiesto is what got me into trance, so in a way I'd like to pay my respects to him for that.

Dude, his events are still amazing. The music, the effects, the atmosphere, the track selection, even his mixing has improved. Definitely someone you should make an effort to see.

He may perform good shows.
But i dont count that as a "good dj" or producer.

/hate me. But i only listen to trance that´s made for me as listener.

yeah i have always wondered why tiesto is SO huge, his events always sell out, maybe it's the two dots thing over the e in his name. i once downloaded a lot of his sets but only ever listened to like 2 of them. i've never seen him live but the people i know who have say it's awesome and i he definitely pulls a lot of shows. i think he is going to be at the Borgata in AC this weekend

that being said, i think his mix album Summer Breeze from like spring '05(?) was just out of control amazingly sweet. one of the later tracks is this mix of delerium's silence. this song is a staple of the gym mp3s. it's one of those CDs you can put in and listen all the way through, without wanting to skip tracks, which are kind of a rarity.
