LOL... I was in Ruths Chris with my dad, who is very unrefined, and he asked for some A-1 on a filet (that he ordered well done by the way)... I thought the waiter was going to have a stroke

I agree with that.
However bland food requires some spice sometimes and I'd say a good steak isn't bland. Although I am partial to pepper sauce on a cheap steak!

Brown onion, add red bell pepper
Pound of burger meat, cook thoroughly
Add HOT salsa, sour cream and retried bean
Mix
Serve on chips of your choice (I used hint of lime for extra win)
Top with tomato jalepeno cheese avacado etc
I just moved into a two bathroom apartment and I'm gonna christen the hell out of the second one tomorrow, can't wait!

Nachos and steak shouldn't be compared really.
