I must add...
Marco V - A Journey Into Sound
which sounded positively INCREDIBLE on the guv system.

Ya that's the first thing I noticed when I was checxking out what I videoed... was him constantly smiling! I think his face has froze that way by the end of the night.

I wasn't even on the rollcall, wasn't supposed to go... but i did. lol
I was in the drink for most of the night for a friends bday, then made my way down to main room after last call.
It was nice meeting you OZ and seeing you again Kris (obviously!!!) lol
I caught a bit of Sander's set and was content leaving after hearing a couple massive tracks for me...
Sia - The girl i lost to cocaine
Wippenberg - Chakalaka
Glad to hear you guys all had fun... wish i could have stayed longer
But i'll be there next week again!
Was great seeing you too Tamar! And what a random place to catch you as well, I think that's like the 3rd time ever that I've been in that back room of the drink before

I think I might have been like the only guy who thought SvD was meh.
A little too trancey, a little too cheesy, a little too predictable...
And a little too boring.
More thoughts later
Tune of the Night: TDR - Squelch (SvD remix)
thats been my review of SvD every time I've seen him. Thats why I didn't even bother considering going to see him on Sat.

Had a blast.
Drunkenly got there just after 12 and spent the first couple of hours giving a Guv tour to co-workers. Ended up in the Orange Room for a while (barf) and then made my way to the Gallery. I missed this place. Nothing like hearing filthy techy beats in a sauna. <3
SVD tickled my fancy; he played a lot of tunes I recognized from recent sets including some epic stormers. One track wowed me sounded like a remix of Opus17. ID anyone? I would of liked to hear a longer set, but I enjoyed him more in the Main room rather than in the Kool Haus. The whole night had a 2005 vibe that took me into a time warp. It was weird but refreshing to relive.
Good to see everyone again; it's been a while.

Sander is always smiling. He's an incredibly personable and friendly guy and it really shows through when he's having a great time playing to a rocking crowd. Great crowd interaction and always a pleasure to see him mix/hear him spin.
Glad he delivered for you guys, though I'm not surprised in the slightest.
