Good to know we're held to a realistic standard here |
Isnt this similar to what men want? lol I dont think most men would want a fat (and/or anorexic), lazy, non-educated, wal-mart-sale-item-dressed, unemployed woman with no personality or social skills? Oh but wait these *ARE* the qualities that men soo desire in the "woman" thread! how could I forget?? lol
Seriously its not that hard to be the ^^above things. It would be unrealistic if women asked for a Bentley with a mansion, nothing under 6"3", 1% body weight, nothing under $100,000 per year, at least a masters degree, at least an 8 inch penis with a coke-can sized girth, knew how to fix everything in the house, was able to cry at movies, while still kick someone's ass while protecting us, blah blah....now THIS could be a perfect man but no one ASKED for this.

Not really because women ask men to walk some constant tightrope, if you're unfit it's bad, but if you spend too much time working out and are too muscled it's ugly and gay, if you're a slob thats bad, if you put too much effort into your appearance you're 'faggy.'
Whereas for a guy, there's just a standard. Sure I don't wanna date a landwhale, but as long as she's not big enough that it causes me to be unattracted to her then thats fine. Sure I don't want to date a girl who wears trackies or trashy surf brand clothing, but I'm not going to complain if she's very fashion conscious and puts a lot of effort into looking good for each occasion, whereas if a guy did that chicks would think he's being faggy.
I think the difference is that women have ideals of who they want their man to be, whereas guys just have certain standards they're attracted to. Women can't be 'too' well dressed or put 'too' much effort into their appearance, as long as it doesn't somehow detract from their personality or the relationship or whatever.

yes but you are saying "women" when there was only one woman in this thread who used the word "faggy" to describe something she wanted (or didnt want). That is HER opinion, not everyone's.....and that is perfectly fine because its what works for HER preferences.
I personally like a guy who is decently dressed or healthy, but dont nit-pick about him gaining a few pounds or wearing sweats while watching Sunday night football.
In the end, everyone wants something a little different in terms of preferences, but i think its a pretty safe bet that most women would want the basics (ie: job, intelligence, healthy, nice, decent dick size, etc....). Just the same as men would have basic standards for women. NO ONE is perfect and the women AND men who expect their partner to be so, will be alone or dissapointed.
