Perhaps I'm biased but I'd have to say NYC just do to the pure number of clubs and other venues and the frequency that top DJ's make appearances. I don't know how it took until the 5th page before anyone even mentioned NYC...

LA is market # 1 in America for EDM. Trance thrives there and you will get to hear great mid-line DJ's that dont get to play in places like Miami or other cities. NY has improved a lot over the last few years but LA still has way more events/djs. Miami is for the most part a house/ hip hop town.
