And do you think if it was held there and wasn't all ages, it wouldn't have sold out anyway? I would be surprised if it was Tiesto himself and not his management or agency or the promoters that decided how the show was run, aside from his In Concert's in Holland.

If you know otherwise, please correct me. I just know that's how things work around here.

Bottom line: if your name is on the flyer as the one & only headliner, & the tickets are $40+, you're the one who's ultimately responsible for the quality of the event. No questions about it.

Edit: If a performer or artist is not vetting what the people they themselves are paying/employing are doing with the that performer's events & effectively their brand, then they clearly lack integrity.

Fair point. But then I go back to you saying he is greedy. How does an all-ages party make him more greedy? Same amount of tickets are available in either case, only thing is that if you thought that a no-minors party would not have been sold out.

Well then there you have it. Going solely for the ticket sales, no?

Other evidence of greed:

-charging $70 for a 6 hr show & leaving after 4.5. Happened here in Toronto.

-purposely booking a venue with known inferior sound quality simply b/c it holds 10,000+. Making it all ages b/c of the realization that it won't possibly sell out otherwise, & still charging over $100/ticket for anything with any semblance dancing space. Note to Tijs: people come to hear you spin & dance to the music. This is a combination of integrity issues and greed. This also happened here in Toronto.

You can't blame him for trying to cash out before he fades away

dude can cash in on his fame for another 10 yrs at least. hard for someone who has achieved as much as Tiesto to go away

although I bet no one thought Oakey would fade away to virtually near nobody-ness today, though Oakey never had the level of achievement Tiesto had

OK so I guess we were on a different page because I thought Tiesto was virtually a lock to being a sold-out show if it was no-minors. Over here, Tiesto always sells out so fast and its always 18+.
