regarding my knowledge of "the scene", I'm not the be all an end all of Toronto rave trivia nor do i claim to be, but i do have more inside knowledge then most. Aside from my 10 years of involvement, I happen to be friends with the people that used to run Toronto, including the organizers of idance. I've got the lowdown from the guys that used to do the mega raves. I'm pretty sure their facts are a little more accurate that yours. |
Amazing how you still think this is about who is right and wrong. You haven't learned much in your 10 proclaimed years in the business have you? (shows in your posting style)
Right then...since I didn't say "this is you Evan the shady dj" and you've gone ahead to suggest I was speaking of you, then all I have to say is, don't let me stop you.
Fact: I can back my things up with facts and By-law...and all you have is your proclamation that you know people. I think you should just retract and continue to live in your own existence.
As to your personal attack at the one event which I decided to book you...since you were not involved in the money aspect and have no clue as to its success...maybe you should stick to doing what you do best...and leave the rest to us who put out the cash.
I'm sorry you are harbouring resentment for having a dwindling crowd in your room. Most of my people preferred K&W in the other room. Too bad...this is how business is sometimes.
Oh and let me make this clear...Joee, Greg, K&W, the dj's I manage along with all others I booked that night are good people. I consider all of them to be friends too, so just watch what you say or hint. I happen to have a deep respect for people in the business. I know all those that respect the business won't have a problem being re-booked.
