I've had tabs at the bar there many a time over the past few years and never had this trouble before.

I had a $97 bar tab, which in itself was annoying because for that much money I should have been falling down the stairs not dead ass sober from their watered down drinks. I check my bank account balance just now and in addition to the $97 there's another charge for $150. I called WH and was informed that it is now their policy to place a $150 hold on anyone's card who opens a tab which should be released in 4-5 business days.

They should really put a sign up that says that or tell people about it before hand.

Luckily I don't need that money at the moment, but really! It's not like I was renting a car or reserving a hotel. I am so utterly disgusted with that place. Their manager can rot in hell.

Other than that I had a lovely time and will post a more pleasant review + pictures later once I get over being annoyed.

That sucks but rule number one: Never and I mean NEVER trust a club with your debit card. Always pay cash or use a CC.

Yea, I've had it where the charge has been higher than my total tab which then fixed itself within a day or two, but I've never had a double charge before. Thank goodness I didn't need that money for anything at the moment.

Now I know, pay in cash! Lol, lesson learned.

I just noticed that I didn't congratulate Casey on a job very well-done, especially his last hour or so, great tracks and vibe!

they still try to rip you off even if you pay with cash. i was getting straight up vodka from the same bartender all night long and she was charging me $7 which is the usual price. i used a diff bartender for my last drink and i gave her a $20 bill. i was watching her and i saw that she charged me $7 for it but she only gave me 7 back and put the remaining $6 inside the tip box. i was like wtfffff? i was arguing with her and i eventually got my money back...

idk where these bartenders get off trying to pull a stunt like that but im thinking about just pretending im european and not tip at all for a drink at clubs like pacha or webster hall.

bro thats nutin
last new years at pacha i went to the bartender in the basement and asked for a drink, she filled it up about 3/4 of the way and gave it to me. i looked at it and i was like can you fill it up to the top?
she goes "that will be another 10 bucks" i laughed in her face put the drink down and walked away
some of these people got real balls to act the way they do

Breakfast was so sick, and Ferry was amazing. He played old and new, and it was fantastic.

However, WH really attracts a shitty croud. I almost got into 2 fist fights and had to throw a kid into a wall cuz he tried to start a fight with me for no reason. Having to go downstairs for the mens room means you have to walk through all the wanna-be gangsters listening to hip-hop, which means you have to bump shoulders and push your way to the stairs. I ended up leaving early cuz my girl was tired from a long week. I was bummed, I think we left at 3am. Anyway, I don't think I'd go back to WH just because of the croud there. There were lots of cool people who were there to listen to music and dance, but WAY WAY WAY too many ugly guys with blown out hair looking to pick up chicks and start fist fights. Oh, and people were smoking cigs on the dance floor, c'mon! I smoke when I drink, but even I don't want to be smelling cigs while I'm dancing. As for the bouncers, they were very nice contrary to what I was expecting. Buy your tix in advance it makes a difference...

Oh yeah, and the coat check is REDICULOUS. 45 minute wait, AWESOME! That almost ruined the entire night.

Thumbs up

Late review (As usual)

Arrived in NYC around 12:20 or so, got into WH just before 1 and only got to see Breakfast for like 10 min or so before Ferry came on. Was trying to get there earlier to catch more of him since I've heard nothing but great things but traffic prevented me from doing so. Also, my advanced ticket wasn't scanning at the door and I guess I can say I'm even lucky the guy at the door just let me in after he tryed to scan it for like 10 min and must have tryed over 30 times or something...While I'm on the subject, did anyone else have this problem on Saturday night or even any event in general? They were Ticketfast tickets that I printed out so the only thing I can think of it must of been my printer...But someone else I went with's ticket worked fine on the first scan and was printed from the same printer.

But yea anyways, enough about that

I thought Ferry's set was excellent...A lot better then I even hoped it would be. In my opinion he had a great flow going pretty much 90%+ of the night...Pretty much all the tracks went togeather really well and the mixing was great (As usual by him lol) But yea, really impressed with this set, it's probably the best set I've heard out in a while...But like I said before in the Boston Review thread that I haven't really been out much since Armin @ Roseland so yeaa. Really happy I went to this and his set in Boston 2 days before didn't even really compare to this party to me.

Great seeing Tom, Infectedskillz and Starsoprano =) Also ran into another TA who I met last year but can't remember his name or TA name ahhhhhhh.

*Edit* It really did smell like shit in there...What the fuck haha
