Well yes and no. If you switch to internal mode, you can use all four decks with audio 4 just fine.
If you don't want to do that, you can set the second pair of decks to output on the same channels as the first two, using them sort of as samplers.
Hopefully N.I. will re-enable using internal mixer controls even when the external mixer mode is being used. This used to work in Traktor 3, but was disabled in Pro. For example, I'd like to be able to use Traktor Pro's EQ kills sometimes since my mixer doesn't have them.

Actually guys, users from Traktor Scratch Duo can do a upgrade software to Traktor Scratch Pro for 100 USD.
Why would you want to do that? Well 20 efxs instead of 6 and varies style of filters. Well since users are still on Audio4 box, it may not be a right move because you are still limited to two decks. But what I am curious to find if still will sync to Ableton Live or Pro Tools or Reason..

well this means you cant use your time-coded CDs/vinyl and only a midi-controller/mouse/keyboard right?

Right, you only have 2 discreet timecode control surfaces.
Traktor does allow you to assign a timecode input to more than one deck, however. So you could cue something up with timecode, switch the deck to internal (which wouldn't stop play back), then use timecode on the other deck.
Again, you'd only have 2 ins and outs though.

20 efxs are absolutely amazing. 4 decks mixing is for the techno djs eg carl cox and richie hawtin, however can be mixed with progressive house as well. Personally I never tried. The other two great things are recording and midi clock. Right now I am very close to sync TSP to Reason v4. Soon I am going to sync TSP to Ableton Live 8 or 7 LE whichever supports my cash in my pocket.
