If you're on the hunt for new cd players i recommend .02% increments on the pitch sliders although I manage quite fine with .05% |
No, I still have an old have a cdj500 (mk1, the big bugger) and the resolution is 0.1 not 0.05. Yes you can get it to go in between two points but I never found it to be accurate.
A cdj800 has 0.05 which I find is accurate for a locked mix on a mix a couple of minutes long.
The PDX's do have great pitch sliders but the technique is a different thing with turntables. listen to any old sasha mixes and try to find a point a mix that is out of sync.....and that was all turntables in those days.
