Judging by your comments in this thread u don't smoke weed....but honestly, maybe u should. u need to CHILL OUT i went to the festival to have fun, to dance to some house music...not to March for the cause. I'm a weed smoker, but that doesn't mean i have to be among the ppl there to FIGHT to legalize it, when it doesn't bother me either way whether it's legal or not. I'm sorry u feel this makes me a prime example of why YOU think this cause has been lost on certain ppl. Just because i didn't want to go to protest and shout about the cause, you're saying what...should i have stayed home????

you're a buzz kill to a thread where ppl just want to talk about how random and fun the FREEDOM FESTIVAL was.

the whole point of the march and freedom festival is to decriminalise weed so people who really need it could get it without hassle. people with bone cancer and things like that. skipper is 100% right, you're just either too young or too dumb to understand that (with all due respect). nobody's saying you should stay home but you totally missed the point, you and other couple thousands of dumbasses.

i smoke up and im strongly against legalizing weed, except for sick people.

p.s. house music is NOT the answer.

yeah it really has nothing to do with being "too dumb"
sure the whole point was missed, but there shouldn't be "a march to decriminalize weed" to begin with, it caters to way too many different age groups. Weed is associated WAY more with just smoking it for fun, not for medical purposes, so really...enough with the bitching on everyones part, there is no shock. It won't get decriminilized...period.
Its a going to be a get together for the purpose of fun. Don't be so surprised and shocked with all the supposed "dumb, young stoners".

I really dunno whats going on here but agree with you. Too much complaining going on.

What made me kinda upset or just pissed off was the fact ppl were getting away with drinking when the event said no alcohol.

also, this event should be weed only,, no tobacco..

please take a look at the flyer......for the PRO marijuana march and festival.....and then see who u think it missing the point here. They have the "world stoner games" ffs. Nowhere on there is the issue of legalizing marijuana for medicinal purposes even mentioned. THAT is why there were teenagers, hippies, well.....any and every type of weed loving canadian there. I 100% see how Skipper is upset that the issue of getting medicinal marijuana legalized for cancer patients who really need it was lost, but that's because the event and the march were not SPECIFIC to that one issue. It wasn't advertised as such. If it had been, i'm sure it would have drawn a completely different crowd. So it's pointless to bitch about it.....it was exactly what it was advertised to be....a pro marijuana march and festival.

lol....the flyer is missing from the roll call now. unless it's just my computer that won't display it. I'll have to track it down....unless someone still has a link to it. Busy at work, will find it later.
