i have so many awesome little memories of my grandparents... like how my grandma made us cinnamon toast by spreading butter on toast and then sprinkled sugar and cinnamon on it. my brother and i grew up on Pepperridge Farm cinnamon toast and we ate it for breakfast almost every single day, but our grandparents never had it. we thought it was amazing that this lady could just invent a simple solution to replace our everyday breakfast. we liked it so much that when we were back home we'd tell mom to make us "grandma toast" instead of the store-bought cinnamon bread.

or my dad's mom, my granny... she was totally crazy and i never really had much of a connection with her, but she was visiting us from Florida and stayed at our house for about a week. this was right after my brother and i got Zelda for SNES, and granny would sit in the rocking chair and watch us play. after about a day or two, she started waking us up early and pulling us away from our other toys and demanding that we play Zelda... just so she could listen to the "beautiful music"

i could remember spending summer with them, and my nono would wake me up early in the morning and we would just ride the subway all day and get out wherever i told him i wanted to and we would just explore the city. I am looking forward to having grandkids more than kids lol.

I have those of my grandpa. He's not a man of many words, but we'd go fishing together for like 10 hours and not say a word... just enjoy each others company and every now and again nod at each other.

Man, I miss him. He's alive, just in Poland... although he's in the hospital and not doing so hot.

the stories and inside jokes we have for my grandpa (the one that married the alchy) are priceless. apparently he was a major smart ass. i wish i could type them but no one would get it lol have to be done in person.

also my mom's parents were super good looking too. my grandpa was a total prep stud...went to fordham prep & college in nyc, played lacrosse, etc... my nana was the spitting image of elizabeth taylor.
