The 380 landed on 06L when it came in, which is one of the shorter runways at just under 9700' long. Landing lengths are always far less restrictive than take off distances. So even a plane that can't take off from one of the smaller runways can very easily land on it. You'll often see the heavies using the north facing 33's when there's a wind from the north for operational reasons, despite the runways not being the longest.
