I've run all. Using Vista on this (laptop), works ok, but think it holds your hand way to much.

Seriously considering a dual boot to Ubuntu (what I have exclusively on my desktop). It is handy to have windoze for certain apps etc. like phone software so on. So gates always wins the bastard!

Samsung. When I used Ubuntu more could fuck about to do most stuff (actually might have been when I had my old sony phone) but was a bit of a pain in the arse.

That said isn't exactly perfect on windoze either!!!

Well on the Sony could use it as a modem (I think....was a year ago or something) and access the memory card on Ubuntu but using open source software via bluetooth.

Plus on the Samsung I've got is a prop. OS Tocco (F480...?).
