It'll be an adoption process for sure...

Anyone, other than Nelly, want to guess what the unit cost will be for the new unit?

I'd say expect 1750-1800 at a minimum. Def not buying for a while.

Great idea in a recession.

Does anyone think the DVJ ever generated a profit? The R&D, prototyping, and manufacturing upstart costs had to be astronomical and you really don't see many of them around -- club- or individual-owned. I think Pioneer puts out some great products; I just hope that this "new generation" isn't so cost prohibitive that not many sell.

Are they cdj1000mk4's or cdj2000s? If its the mk4s; that would seem to be a very promising sign for all of us; being as that logically they're not going to try and pillage people so badly for an "update" as apposed to a brand new line.

they said dawn of a new species... i think it's a new line...

i also think they'll price at around 1500 each. Maybe even 1700

but I don't think the screen will be HUGE... i think it'll probably be closely related to the size of the MEP screen or perhaps a little smaller than the SVM... well find out soon! just a few more days.

Yep, I'm thinkin' MEP type interface right smack in the top center. A high res screen like on my Evo.
