I used to be of the opinion that people could increase their intelligence indefinitely. But many people truly are incapable of learning.
The ability to learn, to me, is the ultimate measure of intelligence. You can have an incredibly intelligent person who doesn't know many things, but as soon as you start giving them information, they will soak it up like a sponge, understand, and apply it.
On the flip side, you can have an incredibly stupid person who knows many things. But all that information and it's useless to them. They do not understand the significance of the information, and are therefore, unable to apply it.
