Well it's certainly interesting to think about. And yeah, I think you're right in that there would arise a lot more competition specifically between women as a once-generous resource would be taken away. But I think that women would have different ways of coping with this than men seem to, and violence would be that much rarer of a reaction - not impossible or non-existent, but the biological need to stomp out one another's genetic line seems a uniquely male phenomenon, though perhaps I am wrong. Also, all it'd take is a few sappy commercials to calm everyone down/reduce them to tears and shame to quell world events. Think of all the good that could be done if our species as a whole were to eliminate sexual frustration - there'd be rainbows and fucking doves everywhere.
Most importantly however, is with the scarcity of maleness in the world, we'd be able to pick and choose our women that much more. Stinky snatches just wouldn't cut it anymore. Either that or they'd all wise up and strap us down to extract our semen forcefully. Snu snu.
