Already, this went out of my comfort zone, not going to lie. You've seen my mixes. In Search Of Magik. So I went into this not knowing what to expect at all. I never listen to techno, I don't listen to much house at all.

I loved it. Very nice feel to it, great mixing. Couldn't help but want to dance just listening to it. Played it a few times today, as I was moving into college. Excellent work. Definitely going to keep this and put it in the favorites folder as well as burn on disc for the car.

Keep up the excellent work Jay, I look forward to hearing another from you!

Good mixing, good flow, Dukktus was clearly the track of the set. I love that song and you dropped it in at a perfect moment too. I would have liked to have heard the final song placed a bit earlier in the set, maybe after 15mins or so. I big melodic tune like that would have gone down really well, I thought things got a little bit repetitive at times.
Good set overall though.

Damn, I was sure that I had given the Führer lova' a full review from my cell phone, but I guess that muthafucka' didn't go through so I'll give it a listen again and I'll post that tomorrow

The gist of that post was that I listened to it on the plane on the flight to Houston and the congas and bongos made thoroughly enjoyable.

I always copy the tracklist of TA sets into the "Lyrics" portion of iTunes so I can keep track of what I'm listening, but this one was a clusterfuck of a set tracklist-wise.

As always this was quite nice. Not totally my thing as I really got tired of this sound, but you somehow always manage to make me enjoy it while you're playing it. I can't wait to hear what you'll do with hiphop with how well you mix and layer things. My hiphop mixes are mixed fucking haaarrrsh.

From that moment on, I could feel the magik flowing through my veins while listening to the music that Tijs carefully samples and produces. His creativity allows him to develop the concepts of songs that bring life and energy to people around the world.

@kadonomy the track = Minimono - Little Liars [Bosconi Records]

i played another track from that ep to open one night on the way too. One of my fav producers at the moment and so under rated. Pure funk imo, search soundcloud for a few live sets with only minimono prods.

thanks everyone else.

last bump, i am sure anyone who wanted to listen has already.

a fun tidbit: i tried doing my hip hop mix last night and i realized that funkmaster flex i am not. I'll need a little more refreshing to get the turntablist inside of me back out. I haven't given up on it yet, but man it is such night and day from "standard edm mixing aka i will not be satisfied with slam fades"

i think it is the first time since i have this mixer that i touch the crossfader

OK, it sure took me a while, but here are my thoughts...

Nice work with the acapella of 'Bank Brotherhood'. I never really liked any of the full versions of the track, but you made the acapella work very well as an opener. I also didn't have any problems with the Lumidee acapella, I think it fits.

You already know you're gifted technically, so it would be kind of redundant to mention it. :P

I listened to this one on the way home to work this morning, and it sounded completely different than what I remembered hearing on the plane. This time it sounded a lot more housey. Don't know what it was...perhaps the mood I was in?

Anyways, I enjoyed it much more this second time so I guess I could say it's a grower. You covered a lot of different styles, and kept the mix very cohesive as a whole, IMO. You had some funky house, tech house, latin congas, salsa vocals, diva vocals, and even a portion that sounded like 'Transitions, Vol.1' Digweed. You sure know how to put together a set to make people dance.

That would be the part @ around 39 minutes, I think you have 2 tracks playing at that point.

Have just started downloading and listening to some of the sets in this forum. This is one of the first I've listened to and I loved it. Great mix and one I'll definately be putting on at the next house party.
