True, but if huge countries like China keep growing that fast all we do won't actually help a lot. The environment isn't really at their top ten list of priorities.
At least Holland is too small for anything. We can be an example, but that's about it I guess.
Electric cars should be the sollution, but what does it take to produce and recycle all those batteries?
I guess that downsizing engines which now slowly is starting in the US will help more in a short period of time.
Bye bye V8 and welcome turbo chargers.
But driving a 1.4 turbo compared to a V8 is not really cool yet allthough it's a lot cheaper, lighter, greener and even can produce the same or more kw (or hp).
So it's not cool yet to show critism, but it's cool to drive an electric car next to your Hummer...
